With a little care your alligator, crocodile and exotic leather accessories can serve you well for many years and be a source of pride every day.
The best way to care for an exotic leather accessory is to simply keep it clean and dry.
Do NOT expose to water
Do NOT clean with damp cloth
Do NOT apply chemical products for cleaning or conditioning the leather
Ideally, you should clean your alligator, crocodile or other exotic leather accessory every few months with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth.
When not in use, it is important to keep your exotic leather item relatively cool and dry. If used infrequently, you should also take care that the leather (any leather) item is stored in a natural unstressed position. While it is normally fine to simply hang belts by their buckle, you may want to store your belt in a coiled position if the belt is used infrequently, and in a cover bag if you have one. For wallets used infrequently, it is important that they are not overly stuffed or placed under the weight of heavy items.
